you can feel paul westerberg tremble

paul westerberg formerly of 80s punk band
the replacements who delivered 'gary's got a boner.'
westerberg delivers rock and roll on 'feel me tremble'
which is one of my favorite rock cds since nirvana.

'feel me tremble' delivers interesting &
smoking rock & roll politically incorrect lyrics
with no apologies. westerberg is in top form on
'tremble.' u can see just see him level his
guitar on top of some radio air head.

'knockin' 'em back' is about falling off the
drinking&druggin wagon. westerberg had his
bouts drugs &liquor but songs about drinkin'
and druggin' &gamblin' &womanizin' makes for
some burning rock&roll.

'hillbilly junk ' gets down on some crank as
paul wrankles his midwest roots. next he rips
out the soul on 'crackle' ...with a damaging line
with a cereal commercial tongue and cheek
test, 'crackle and pop' goes the plastic as they
zip up the dead body.

there's no moralizing here. the easily offended
should pass, but if youre starved for some real
rock&roll. smoke some westerberg.

Fpop, no mention of the grungy feel to "I'm a Dirty Diesel" or the pop magic of "My Daydream". This disc was a surprise to me also; I've always been a Westerberg fan but this is something special.

Well his alter ego grandpaboy's records aren't so bad either. I quite like the sub stonesian feel he gets on "stereo/mono" and "dead man shake".
