I haven't heard his new one, He did some nice stuff with Ray Brown.
he currently tours with Oscar Peterson.
He's on a few of Oscar's CD's too. You can hear a bunch of influences when he plays. He has a site, his name dot com.

About Ulf

I heard him on a cd with NHOP and also a friend of mine gave a spin of one of his recordings for me. He plays well, good articulation and technique. Ulf influenced mainly by Joe Pass (at least that was my impression), he is a bebop player. There is a bunch of other stuff that I would like to listen to before him though.
