Jazz Interpretations of "La Bamba"

A friend of mine collects variations on the "La Bamba" tune. He asked if I knew of any Jazz versions and I couldn't think of any. Anyone? Thanks.

FYI: I found a version by Brubeck, "Bravo, Brubeck", 1967 and a Mongo version, "Mongo Santamaria's Greatest Hits" (70's), but he already had those. But I did learn something... I did not know that Mongo wrote "Afro Blue". Something new every day.

Sorry, don't know, but there's a good version of "Livin' La Vida Loca" on William-Olsson's "PoP" (an excellent jazz cd, by the way)
