Testing
This is what happened when I saved the whole Ask DG II thread from the Archives to my computer as a text file and tried to attach it in this message.
Edit: Nothing. No error message, but no attachment, either. However, that doesn't mean that it doesn't work! All it means is that I don't know what I'm doing.

This is what happened when I copied a single message from the Ask DG II thread in the Archives and tried to paste it here. It happens to contain a link.
Dennis González
Mike, thanks for starting the new thread...what a surprise. And Moné, you get a grand prize for being the 1000th poster on the old DG Thread. You gotta e-mail me though!
And according to what Mike says, I'll have more to share on that as time goes by.
In the meantime, enjoy the new thread and I will begin with a new URL to explore!

I was beginning to come out of my self-imposed exile back in 1998, and I wrote the words you will read!

Edit: Hmmm, that wasn't bad. The link got reproduced, too. All I did was edit the spacing in the first line or two.

I think I fixed it. Someone had asked for more characters when cutting and pasting a thread from the archives. But I inadvertently put a comma in so it didn't recognize it.

Off topic (what topic?)
I'm using this post in "my" thread. It's for a good cause.

Oh, hell! Then not only did you not see that screenshot, but you haven't seen any of my smilies--including the "devil" smiley that I used after I made a snarky remark a little while ago!
The worst part is that I'm never going to remember that.

Jaka, are you being funny? Doesn't it redirect you? It redirects me!
BTW, if you right-click on the "banner," then click on Properties (in IE, anyway), you'll see that it really is an image--a .jpg.

I'm not being funny at all. I admire your capability at testing, tirelessly, so that Ron's project is taken care of in the best possible ways.
Try being nice and supportive...

Jaka--
I'm sorry; I misunderstood. I thought you were saying that you were "testing, testing" and, by implication, not getting the correct result.
Thank you for being nice and supportive (always!), and thank you for designing the kick-ass you-know-whats!
