Pink Floyd's "The Wall" (or as I like to call it "The Metaphor") was one of those that my friends and I always had in the tape player while driving around partying. It was the soundtrack for my teen stoner years. Now when I hear it it just sounds like so much over indulgent silliness. And seeing the movie version just makes it worse.

I still love "Dark Side of the Moon" though.

A lot of fusion stuff from the '70s fits in my loved then/hate now file.

Excellent choices, Underhound! I concur with all, although I still like Fogelberg's The Innocent Age.

And even though there are classic performances on this, I'd have to say I've gotten pretty sick of....

In general, pointless fusion excess...

I couldn't have said it better myself.

One of the best album covers of all time though, you must agree.

And really, there are a couple of tunes on there that ARE really good.

I agree, too. I was psyched when Moraz joined the group, but even the best Moodies albums don't wear that well over time.

Deke, 'Lumpy Gravy' is still one of my favorite Zappa albums....

I tossed this one ages ago, but I'm pretty sure if I listened to it today, I'd have a vomitatious reaction. Was really into it back then, though. Anyone else remember---

Same here.
What's sure is I wasn't in high school at all when it was released. Barely at school. Barely born in fact.

It's ok, but one listen every 10 or 15 years is enough for me. Couldn't get enough of it then, though.
