Large Group Opportunities

Philly Area: Musicians for Merion Symphony

"New Players Wanted"

2004-5 is our eleventh season. It is also the beginning of a drive to increase the size of our orchestra.

The Lower Merion Symphony is a community orchestra of amateur players. We are always in need of new members. This is especially true in the string section. While our first priority is violins and violas, all string players are welcome. We are also looking for French horns and bassoons.

Because we do not hold formal auditions, we require prospective members to have at least two to three years of formal instruction.

If you are interested in joining our orchestra or know someone who would be interested in joining, contact Dr Sherman Leis at 215-473-9013, or contact the Music Director at 215-473-9013.
