The latest series kicked off there last weekend with a night of various improvised sets that were quite fantastic. Rob Brown was in top form, the flurries of notes just flying from his alto in creative fashion. He performed approximeately a twenty minute duo with Henry Grimes that was about as good as free-jazz improv gets. The venue is a nice small room that provides a great opportunity to hear the music close up. But I understand that they may have to move again and find a new space. I'm hoping to make it back in for this show on the 6th.
