Subject: Just Jazz has been canceled - Register your complaint
Dear listeners and supporters:
Despite your positive feedback, phone calls, emails and the generous
donations that many of you made during last week's fund drive, WDVR
has canceled my Just Jazz program effective this week.
The reasons have to do with the owner's personal politics and his
disrespect for my music. I'm especially sorry for those of you who did
make financial contributions, since he clearly played both you and me
for suckers. If you have sent checks, please try and stop payment on
them. If you made credit card payments, demand refunds. Your
contributions were made on the belief that Just Jazz will continue to
be heard and you were lied to.
To all my friends in the jazz community, I'm sorry that I can't go on
playing your music and supporting your work.
I ask all of you to register a complaint with WDVR's station manager,
Frank Napurano. You may email him at
napp2@comcast.net and please cc
your email to me (trbnplyr@aol.com) as well as to the station,
host@wdvrfm.org. Please do this and let him know he has made a grave
error.
