Douglas' Avatar
So what do you think it is? I've discussed this with 3 or 4 different people and we all thought it was something different....
Douglas told me and the origins of it... and I'm sure he'll reveal the answer for everyone here. But care to take a guess?

Looks to me like a child's fingers and an elephant's trunk.

Douglas chose something remarkably ambiguous.
As SqDS said, I think it's a human hand probing a non-human appendage.
Perhaps a vetrinarian pic.
The alternatives are creepy.

Here it is, for our consideration:
Feeling the pinch

I'll be very happy to reveal what is in the picture.
Lois told me what some of the suggestions were so far, and that has had me chuckling all morning. So, let's see some more - creepy or otherwise.

It looks like fingers probing around a pig's snout.

It looks to me like someone is pinching the skin off a clenched fist.

I think Tan's guess is pretty close. Maybe not a pig, perhaps a dog, but certainly finger-in-snout related.

I want to change my guess: I think it's fingers shaping clay.

I like Tan's guess as well. I'm too embarrassed to say what I thought it was... it was totally obscene and there should not to be seen

What the hand on the left is pinching is the skin between the forefinger and thumb of a hand on the left. The hand on the left is knuckles down, in a sort of fist.
If it's a pig's snout, that's just f**king wrong.

I'm having a hard time not seeing a pig's snout now that it has been suggested. Tanager nailed it.
Or is it some stub of an amputated limb? Testicles on a table? A loofer?

You guys must hate admitting I'm right. It's a clenched fist and the other hand is pinching skin...you know, that little flap between thumb and index finger.

By the way, aren't you going to share with us, Doug? (If it's not a human and an animal PLEASE Lie!)

OK - here's the bigger version. From an exhibition by Douglas Gordon in Paris a few years back called Sheep and Goats. But it is human, so sleep soundly, Tippy (no animal was hurt in the making of this video). Lois' secret is safe with me, though it was very funny.

I want to change my mind again. Now I think it's Michael Jackson hand, the one he usually keeps in the glove, and he's like dipping it into some kind of secret sauce.

Douglas--
As you saw, the page link worked, but the image itself didn't show up. To post an IMG image, you need to right-click on the picture itself, then click on Properties and copy the URL of the picture itself. You used the URL of the page instead. Anyway, here's the large version:

What I want to know is, were any humans hurt? I'm not sleeping soundly yet.

I skipped every post after the first four, so that I wouldn't be unduly influenced or see the answer if it's been revealed.
My guess:
Thumb and forefinger pinching skin just above an elbow. Is this an acupressure point we should be hip to, by any chance?

Thanks, Blooter. According to the Californian chapter of the Government Should Be In The Bedroom , no human was hurt in the making of this video.
