Can any of you guys tell me----?

I have a Sony CD MD recording walkman. and they've just sent me an Email with a download for converting my MD files to WAV files. What the hell are those, can any of you tell me?

In advance-you have my thanks.

Frank, you can play WAV files on any cd/cd-rom/dvd player, afaik. Not familiar with MD files, but doubt they are universally recognized by players.

WAV is a non-compressed audio file, equivalent to CD audio (same bitrate).
