My brush with Satan
Weird sh** happened to me last night.
I went out for my evening run and passed the same houses I always do on my way out, only this time the dogs at every house barked at me. I've never had that happen before. They didn't bark like a dog barks at a noise. This was more like the type of thing you see in the movie Cujo. Sustained, threatening barking. Lots of dogs all up and down the street. Unnerving.
I get in the car and drive to the supermarket. I'm in the produce section and make a stupid joke to a girl who's browsing the melons (three guesses what the joke was). She smiles and says, "You devil." Hmm... interesting choice of words...
I go to Panera Bread for something to eat and my bill comes to exactly $6.66. The girl behind the counter tells me that's never happened to her before. Now, here's the strange part: She says what I ordered is common and the total comes to $6.67 every time except this one. She's sure of it, it happens all the time and she knows the price by heart. I saved the receipt, I have to eventually take the time to figure out what happened. As for now, no explanation.
I sit down to eat my food and there's a baby in a stroller with her parents at a nearby table. Now, you have to understand that babies normally love me. They smile at me all the time, more than most people. No idea why, maybe it's the mullet (kidding!). Anyway, this baby sees me and almost immediately throws up all over her bib and starts crying. I was genuinely unsettled by this point.
I'm hoping really hard that this doesn't continue today. So far, so good.

Feel any horns on your forehead?
Any tail growing on your back?

I may be reading this the wrong way, but did you just ask me if I wanted any tail?
No Evelyn Wood,

I'm sure they were just showing their love.

I thought this was going to be about Larry's chance encounter with the Faces' former singer.

I think my demonic possession lasted only 24 hours, because nothing strange has happened since.
