On Monday, December 6, 2004, renowned bassist and New School Jazz Program faculty member Reggie Workman will lead New School Jazz Program students in two significant musical presentations
THE FUTURISTIC MUSIC ENS. Will perform from 7:00 to 8:00 pm , presenting original compositions by student as well as Reggie Workman.
IMEDIATELY FOLLOWING
THE COLTRANE ENSEMBLE will present “ THE MUSIC OF JOHN COLTRANE from 9:00 to 10:00 pm
“The Music of Coltrane” will include rare and favorite Coltrane tunes, plus, some of Coltrane’s classic compositions with new lyrics written expressly for this and previous performances
