Actors/Actresses in Commercials for Whom You Lust
Around ten years ago, Special K ran a commercial with a young lady, poolside, in a white-one piece bathing suit. Fetching was not the word. Who was this person, wondered I, and why aren't I seeing her in every other commerical or movie? Pre-Net, that's about all I could do: wonder. Saw her in a couple of ads over the years but recently she popped up as the spokesperson for Overstock.com, a little the worse for wear, maybe, but still scrump-diddly-umptious. As I found with a bit of googling, I'm not the only sap so enraptured. Ladies and gentlemen, Sabine Ehrenfeld:

Catherine Zeta-Jones makes my knobby wobbly
And I don't know if this counts, but anytime Linda Hamilton looks all sweaty ..instant woody-noscity
Fingertip fact: I remember Lauren Hutton when she was a waitress at Al Hirst Club in N'Awlins in 1964 ..
really great gal .but she had a mouth on her that could waste his DEEPness ..should such occur ..

I'm completely knocked out by this one blond broad who I've seen in a few commercials, but I have no clue what her name is. The most famous one she was in was for the Volkswagon Jetta, I believe. And it showed her going through a few different boyfriends, and so on..................
She was also in a Sony Vaio commercial. And a Taco Bell spot.
Anybody kno who I'm talking about?

There was a Miller beer commercial some years ago in which a guy makes a circle in the (beach) sand around some fabulously beautiful brunette with his cowboy boot. She looks at him like he's nuts.
I'm still in love with her, whoever she is.

I've actually watched the same infomercial twice on some cable channel because they were focusing on this chick rodeo star who's also a jeans model and uses some kind of home fitness machine (the machine is what the infomercial was about). I forget her name, can probably surf it up, but she was tres hot.

Brian you read my mind, I always drool when I see those overstock commercials and she starts talking about the big O. She's got a touch of a scandanavian accent thats very sexy too.
My girlfriend actually met this model at a restaurant the other night and they hit it off. Somebody please kill me.

Just keeping it real. She does a little crinkly thing somewhere between her eyes, nose and mouth (!) that's ridiculously cute.
It's actually sorta fun keeping vague mental track of actors/actresses that you see year after year in commercial, sometimes for decades. You never know their name. Also amusing seeing them in the street in NY. "Hey, there's that woman from the Tum's commercial!".
btw, I've also been a big fan of Ms. Hutton since seeing her in a fashion spread for Eye magazine around 1970 (Anyone else remember that mag? Pete?). She's still gorgeous.

We once ran into Lauren Hutton in the Zihuatanejo airport. She was slumped against the wall, smoking one cigarette after another, recovering from who knows what. She looked like six miles of bad road.
Sorry guys.

Man, if she's the worse for wear now, I'm glad I never saw her back in the day. It would have been like looking directly into the sun!

I think the photo in post #1 might be from a time around the Special K commercial. When I say "worse for wear", I mean it in the best possible way, of course.
btw, to shed any ageist notions, one of my other current favorite femmes des commercials is the lady playing the UPS employee who politely declines to take some lug's dog to the vet. Nice sparkle there and no spring chicken.

There's a Bacardi Limon commercial where this girl with short-ish, spiky blond hair keeps opening the door for guests at a big house party, checking through the peep-hole in the door to see who's there. Don't know who she is and have never seen a photo of her, just the commercial spot.

There's this youngish black guy who did a commercial for beer, maybe it was Rolling Rock, in which he dumps his girlfriend right before finding out that she had won the lottery. Now he's in IBM commercials. He's one of only a few actors that I notice reappearing for different companies. And no, I'm not attracted to him, but I did notice he seems to be getting more face time on commercials.

I saw Tiegs on the street in NYC once, way back in the late 70s. She conformed to the general rule that models aren't nearly as attractive in person as they are in ads. A rule, btw, that Ms. Hutton absolutely shattered the one occasion I saw her breezing out of Lord & Taylor (Clint's observation aside).

It's all about that skin cream chick with the curly hair from a while back and that Carl's Jr. slow mechanical bull-riding honey.

There's an ad over here for mobile ringtones, it shows a kinda unhip guy grooving down the street, and because his ringtones are so hip girls start to follow him, mimicking his moves. By the end of the ad he must have a couple of dozen girls following, and in the front row, on the far LH side of the screen is a total babe. I've never seen her before, probably never will again, and half the time, because she's on the end of the row, I can't even see her while the ad's on.
But I'm in love...

Janine Turner blew it when she pumped up the collagen lips. She didn't need them, and they're too damn distracting, like Barbara Hershey's.
