The Godfather Returns!!

Wazzup All!

The book just came out today and I picked it up. I'm only 12 pages in and figured I'd give ya's a head's up. RUN, don't walk, RUN and get this book!! Written with the Puzo estates blessings, Mark Winegardner (the author) is a great, great writer.

12 pages in and I'm grinnin' ear to ear! I'll check back in a few days, after I'm done!

Indeed. A few years ago he wrote a very solid first novel. No offense to the Godfather franchise, of which I am a fan when it comes to movies, but I hope the author isn't pigeonholed into some kind of genre-bound insignificance with this book, which will undoubtedly be a huge seller.

One thing that always impressed me about the original was how Puzo took pains to note that when the victims died, their sphincters loosened.

What's the time span of the new book relative to the first two GF movies?
