Berklee College of Music begins a new era with the inauguration of its third-ever president, Roger H. Brown, on Friday, December 3, 2004. Beginning Monday, November 29, Berklee is presenting a variety of public events leading up to the inauguration, giving the Berklee community an opportunity to honor its past, celebrate its present, and usher in the future. Events include concerts of jazz, rock, hip-hop, Afro-Cuban, and gospel music; faculty panel discussions, lectures, and clinics. Reverence Gospel Choir and Overjoyed- Hallelujah! Amen! An Evening of Gospel Music - Dennis Montgomery III directs the Berklee Reverence Gospel Ensemble and OverJoyed. This concert will feature both ensembles performing songs from various artists in traditional and contemporary gospel styles.
