Toni Gates Appears in Quality Hill Playhouse Christmas Production

KANSAS CITY USA -- 'ASR Records recording artist, Toni Gates will be appearing in the Quality Hill Playhouse Christmas in Song show from November 19-December 24. Showtimes and ticket information can be found at www.qualityhillplayhouse.com or by calling 816.421.1700.

Her highly successful concert, "One by One", which she produced in Kansas City during this past October has prompted a re-visiting of sorts. Toni will be performing a similarly produced show again (under a different theme and title) as a fundraiser for Solace House, a not-for-profit that provides grief counseling for children and adults, tentatively scheduled for March 5, location TBA. See the Toni Gates website for more details and updates.

'ASR RECORDS was co-founded in 1995 by the Kansas City area award-winning artist, Alaadeen; along with longtime community arts advocate, Victoria Dunfee. Their initial purpose and goals, which were relatively modest and simple, centered on providing a professional music label for deserving recording artist talent. Alaadeen was also the initial founding artist on the label, with his first commercial US Release of the CD titled, "Blues for RC and Josephine Too (ASR1001)". That debut release was met with qualified critical praise by such established music industry publications as Jazz Times, Billboard Magazine, and the All Music Guide. Like all great music, this CD continues to receive significant radio airplay, and Alaadeen's band on this recording was even cited as "Best Unsigned Band" by a distiguished panel of industry experts through Musician Magazine.
