I figure it forces folks to make a choice.

I have several other excellent trumpeters I would choose [like Lee Morgan, Dizzy, Art Farmer, Clark Terry and the like], but Miles is alltime for me

Actually one of my favorite trumpeters is a Russian, Timofey Dokschutzer. Anyone here familiar with the guy. He is incredible.
