I was down with it until he got to Glenn Frey. If he'd picked on Don Henley, I might have continued reading.

lol

Incidentally I am a fan of Pink Floyd and I do love how the sax solos in their pieces.

Currently listening to a great sax solo from Charlie Parker. He and Diz are getting off on "Leap Frog" from "Bird and Diz."

I don't know much of Huey Lewis' stuff, but I do know Ron Stallings, a fine Bay Area Jazz saxophonist the rest of the time when not touring Huey Lewis...long standing member of a couple of fine bands, including John Santos & Machete

Am I missing something?

kenny,

Let's just take a flying leap at this one and assume that a BSS from the Stones didn't come from the tenor of Sonny Rollins.

OK?

I get to sit through some BSS tonight since Kenny G will be on the Tonight Show with Earth, Wind, and Fire. What a way to go on my last NBC shift . After tonight, I will be working PAX TV full time and sitting through even more boring programming (Worship, infomercials, repeats from other networks and "clean" family programming).

I have to remind myself that I still have a job in TV land.

This thread opened some dormant virus in my brain, which caused me to spend most of the evening trying to figure out who covered Spyro Gyra's "Sea Biscuit". Thanks a lot, Mike.
