I met Leena in Roma at the New York is Now! 2004 Festival in Rome, where she performed with the greatest William Parker, Amiri Baraka, Hamid Drake...

I'm looking for any biographical info, CDs, references or contacts about her musical background, past experiences...

Stefania: have you tried the AMG site (www.allmusic.com)? It's exceedingly slow & awkward to use, but it does have an entry for Conquest. It seems she has one disc to her name plus a few appearances on discs by Parker, Sunny Murray, &c. No biographical info, though.

She collaborated with Radu Malfatti & Werner Dafeldecker on a CD and documentary concert footage, found by Googling her name. I was curious to try the obvious route, as her name is vaugely familiar...
