Total Writing London

Though it's split between music and poetry, I thought this event would nonetheless be of considerable interest to some JCers--quite a number of interesting figures from the UK improv scene are on the schedule. Note Chris Goode's warning in the opening paragraph. For more information contact him at airtrance16@GRAFFITI.NET --N

[message follows from Chris Goode at Camden People's Theatre in London]

Dear colleagues,

The below information isn't yet fully finalised - there are a handful of t.b.c's in the list, and a number of t.b.a's not on the list - so ***please don't circulate too widely*** yet (at least not without this disclaimer). ...

TOTAL WRITING LONDON

plus special events including John Tilbury in conversation with Harry Gilonis, & a session curated by Helen Slater (Aitchess P.). Also, as ever, licensed bar + licentious bar staff.

Hoping to be able to put out a definitive version of the above in about a week, and a full timetable by early June.

Tickets will *probably be in the region of:
Friday evening launch event: £7 (£5 concs)
Saturday + Sunday daytime sessions: £3 (£2 concs)
Saturday + Sunday evening sessions: £5 (£3 concs)
Saturday + Sunday day passes: £18 (£12 concs)
Festival pass - all three days: £35 (£22 concs)

Hoping this whets an appetite or two,
best to all,
Chris

A further note from Chris Goode just filling in or modifying the above--
Quote:
Matt Hutchinson has decided he'd like to do a duo with Chris Burn. ... Phillip Henderson is no longer quite so confirmed .... To the list of poets should be added Andrew Brewerton, Helen Macdonald and Tim Morris (and possibly me, if I can get over my discomfort about programming myself).
& Raworth may or may not make it (for health reasons).

Final, official schedule, a little changed from before. If any JCers are in attendance would be happy to meet up. The public discussion with John Tilbury sounds particularly interesting. -- You will find towards the end of this post a link to the official schedule on the website. --N
