I was at the Eugene Chadbourne show at Tonic last night. What a mess!. Nothing worked for me, even though Mark Dresser and Gerry Hemingway were attempting to hold it all together. I feel that Eugene works better on his own, he is too unique to be able to gell with anyone else. Any comments?

My main comment would be that this post might be better in the "Speak Out" forum rather than "Links". -- Yeah, Chadbourne is......well, I've seen one superb cncert by him, & I've seen one disaster, & I have one recording of his I like, & most of the rest range from "having a few good moments" to "a complete waste of time".
